Print Competition Winners 2010
Our print competition night proved to be a very successful night for Glenn Norwood. Not only was Glenn awarded the prestigious title of Bippni Photographer of the year 2010, but he was also awarded Portrait Photographer of the year and won five of the main categories!
Judges on the evening - Mike Brookes-Roper FBIPP and Paul Callaghan FBIPP, were overwhelmed by the standard of work submitted on the night, remarking that the entries were not just some of the best they have seen in the U.K. but worldwide! High praise indeed, & again testimony of the degree of excellence we have here in the province.
After at slight hiccup on the day of the competition - when Mikes flight was cancelled, we all rallied together and connected Mike up by Skype to help with the live critique.
Many thanks to both Judges who were outstanding in their efforts and thanks to all our members who helped support the event. Visit our blog and news section for further details on this event...
Print Competition Night - May 17th 2010
Make a note in your diary! Our annual print competition night will take place on Monday, May 17th at 7.30pm. The venue for the event will be The Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast.
Judges on the evening will be Mike Brookes-Roper FBIPP, one of Scotlands most celebrated photographers, and Paul Callaghan FBIPP, perhaps the best wedding photographer in Southern Ireland.
The final images, to be judged on the night, have been selected by Mike and Paul from almost 300 submitted over the past year and represent the best the Provence has to offer.
